When you have placed the Track Points, click and drag the Anchor Points so they are anchored to the side of the building.
Note: There is not one absolute are that the Track Points should be situated. It will depend on the footage and how well After Effects calculates the tracked data. For this particular piece of footage, it may be necessary to actually move the Track Point Feature and Search region boxes throughout the tracking process to ensure you don’t get drift. For this exercise I had to move the Track Points to different locations to get the most stable track.
Step 8: With the Track Points and Anchor Points in position, click on the Options button in the Tracker Controls. Since the DV footage is automatically de-interlaced when it is brought into After Effects, you will not need to Track Fields. And, because of the nature of the footage, you do not need to Enable Feature Adaptiveness either. ![]() Step 9: Click on the Tracker Plug-in Options Button.
