One of the great things about Apple`s Motion 3, (part of Final Cut Studio 2), is its ease of use. You can create some great animations simply by adding Motion`s Behaviors, the program`s equivalent to Adobe After Effects` Expressions. At their basics, behaviors are great animations. Need a camera dolly move? Drag in the Dolly Behavior and off you go.
What would happen if you liked the defaults but really wanted to change a behavior? No problem. Just click on Object > Convert to Keyframes or Command K. This will create keyframes to all the behaviors in your object`s group. In the keyframe editor on the bottom you will see the keyframes complete with handles for you to manipulate.
Lastly in the following video tutorial is a fix to a problem many of us have. Have you ever opened Motion and were unable to activate your Library or other panels? Let me show you how to fix that bug by trashing the preferences. Enjoy.
