Coremelt Complete V2 CoreMelt's plug-ins are getting better with age By Kevin McAuliffe

You can never have enough plug-ins. Trust me, as an editor/graphic designer you always have clients that want something "cool," but have really no idea what they are looking for, so you end up finding yourself going through the plug-ins on your system to try and put something together to really "wow" them, your plug-in collection needs to have three traits. They need to be awesome looking, fast to render and (some might say most importantly) cheap! Version one of Coremelt's plug-in were used via FX Factory Pro, and in this updated version, Coremelt has moved out into uncharted waters and are standing alone with version two.  Let's see if it's worth your hard earned money.

Installation
Before version version two, you needed to head over to FX Factory Pro's website to download their host application before using Coremelt's plug-ins, well not any more. With their new V-Twin FX engine (which gives the users a faster render engine), the installer for V2 is self contained, and you should be up and running in no time. Coremelt also offers a free fifteen day trial, so you can try before you buy!

What you get
I need to start out by mentioning that Coremelt has added fifty-four new plug-ins since version one of the Editing Pack, Motion Pack, ImageFlow and Polychrome. Each point release seems to bring new plug-ins, so make sure you are always on top of the version updates! Overall, here is what you are getting with V2:

ImageFlow FX V2
I love ImageFlow! This package of twenty-five different photo montage animation styles will make creating montages a breeze.  Photo/Image montages always made me cringe when I had to create them, and now, I can create them in a quarter of the time I used to, and I can even create photo montages with movies as well. Awesome!

Gadget-Editor Tools
Editors Tools brings together twenty-seven effects to add a lot of "edge" to your piece. With Camera Shake (one I use on almost every project), Old TV and Heat Haze to name a few, CoreMelt has put in some unique plug-ins to make V2 stand out from other plug-in packages.
